For some reason the formating of the doxygen generated pages was a little wierd. In the past it generated a nicely numbers list, but something went wrong. So, I've just reworked the pages with lists on them. Should be ok now.

gnocl::calendar

Given this module some attention today. Added some of the more package wide options to the module and created customised handler for setting the month. (For some odd reason months are are counted 0-11 whereas days are 1-31.) There's still a little more to do to this one including the addition of code to store diary details. Here's the working test script to show the range of options at work. The percentage substitution string item %e explores something that I've been toying with, the name of the signal/event that initiated the call. Gnocl Dashboard

Over the past few programming sessions I've been working on producing a central point, a dashboard, around which it's possible to see the various Gnocl widgets and commands in operation. In many ways like the demo script which shipped with the earlier releases of Gnocl but offers much more. The introspection functionality provides details of the various options and sub-commands of each Gnocl procedure which are displayed under the associated tab. Sample scripts are included for each item which offers newcomers a clearer insight into how make the most of what's on offer.

Recent Changes and Enchancements

Admittedly, over the past few months things have been a little quiet on Gnocl development front. The summer has been very busy for me with most of my free time taken up with the preparation of some translation work for a forthcoming textbook on the history of east asian medicine. Needless to say, much of this has been produced using Tcl/Gnocl derived tools. The past couple of weekends have seen me address a number of problems and limitations that have arisen. Firstly the Gnocl website failed to load -- this has now been fixed and all runs normally. Next, I've worked on a couple of issues around the gnocl::eventBox and gnocl::entry widgets. With the enhancements to the gnocl::entryBox it is now possible to remove child widgets or allow their replacement during runtime. The gnocl::entry has seen the addition of the -innerBorder option, which controls the packing between the text and the entry containing frame. Some changes have taken place beneath the surface too.
